Usman also serves as a Venture Partner at Backbone Partners, Head of Growth & Partnerships at SpaceBase, and was a former Commercialisation Facilitator at AusIndustry’s Entrepreneurs’ Program.

His numerous accolades include being named the 2018 Commonwealth Young Person of the Year, a 2021 International Space University alum, a 2020 Stanford GSB alum, and a 2019 Obama Leader.
