Who is Majid?

Majid is a highly capable Product leader with 10+ years of experience in product management by successfully leading product teams and building products in domains including e-Commerce, Finance, Medical, Gaming and Enterprise using agile methods like SCRUM, KANBAN and hybrid models. With a strong understanding of businesses and systems, Majid has successfully taken products from ideas to the market that are high quality and have helped businesses grow. Majid has successfully built, hired and grew a product and data department to deliver maximum results. In addition, Majid also has experience in analyzing existing systems and business models to consistently innovate, and create additional value for end customer. Majid is a dynamic, result driven, technical and customer focused previously responsible for leading the overall product strategy including developing and driving product roadmaps, and leading cross-functional teams (UX, Development, DevOps, and Quality Assurance).

Currently Majid works at Ventura Travel GmbH as the Director of Data and Digital Products, and in addition he also is a Board Member at the German-Asian Business club. Previously he has worked at organizations like CRIF GmbH, MarvVY, Vendevo Pvt Ltd. In addition, he also has passion for entrepreneurship and had a startup in Dusseldorf, Germany called Thymine Soft. Majid has built products in industries like KYC, Fraud prevention, Customer onboarding, social networks, Open banking, dating applications, games, other SaaS based products as well. He has also acted as product advisory to multiple companies including in SaaS, Enterprise applications.
